SC-OCEAN LAKES PHS41452500_2Enjoy an extended stay in the embrace of Southern Hospitality. Walk the beaches on the beautiful Atlantic Coast, go gaming in Mississippi and explore Louisiana’s lush landscapes and tasty cuisine.

Florida certainly has its share of extended stay parks. Big Cypress RV Resort in Clewiston, Florida, is nestled in the beautiful Western prairie of the Florida Everglades and is just an hour’s drive from Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Naples. In Southwest Florida, Craig’s RV Park, located in Arcadia, boasts southern hospitality along with Bluegrass Jammin’ Weekends. Nestled between the resort communities of Naples and Florida, Imperial Bonita Estates MH & RV Resort in Bonita Springs is close to miles of pristine beaches, golf courses, restaurants and more. Riverside RV Resort & Campground in Port Charlotte sits amid lush palm trees, has spacious sites and includes organized activities like the Riverside’s End of Summer Store-n-Stay Potluck.

Hidden Ponds RV Park in Lake Charles, Louisiana, is located near the Creole Nature Trail and is the ideal base for attending local festivals and touring the area.

Baywood MISSISSIPPI IMG_1528Next door in Mississippi, Baywood RV Park & Campground Inc. in Gulfport serves up Southern hospitality under large, shady oak trees. The park is about two miles to the beach and not far from casinos. More Magnolia State charm is found in Ez Daze RV Park in Southaven, where amenities like massage therapy, pool and a hot tub help guests relax when they’re not visiting nearby Tunica or Memphis, Tennessee.

At Mazalea Travel Park in Biloxi, Nearby beaches, casinos, shopping, restaurants and historical sites keep guests busy when they’re not relaxing in one of the pull-though sites.

Head up to Missouri to visit Mark Twain Landing Resort in Monroe City. Enjoy the resort’s Playland, with go-karts, bumper boats, miniature golf and more. Guests can splash around in the water park and ride the waves.

South Carolina

On South Carolina’s Atlantic coast, Myrtle Beach’s Ocean Lakes Family Campground faces a white sand beach and features a two-acre recreation complex with a pool area, sun deck, game center and more. Head inland to Lexington to visit Barnyard RV Park, where guests can enjoy warm hospitality, mild weather and beautiful grounds with nearby attractions that include bass fishing and entertainment.
